Myofascial pain and dysfunction: evaluation and therapy: Level A.
The main focus of the course is on myofascial pain caused by muscle and fascia pathologies. Trigger points are the main cause of myofascial pain. Myofascial chains, their function and dysfunction in case of various pathologies are analyzed in detail in the courses.

The Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction: Assessment and Treatment: Level A course (formerly Global Trigger Point Therapy) is a hands-on course that focuses on myofascial pain caused by muscle and fascial pathologies. Trigger points are the main cause of myofascial pain.
The main topics of the courses are:
- kinesiological and biomechanical assessment of the patient (myofascial chains);
- differential diagnosis;
- myofascial pain, their causes; reactions of muscle "chains" of trigger points and the mechanism of their formation; radiating pain from trigger points and associated joint blockages; characteristic pain of the patient; functional changes caused by trigger points.
- Practical part: muscle relaxation techniques (based on muscle-fascia "chains") using the principles of global reciprocal inhibition, PIR according to K. Lewit, AEK (agonic eccentric contraction) techniques according to the Brugger concept.
